Email attachments / ringtones - Treo Forum

I have a 700W and had a friend email a MIDI ringtone to me (< 64K, etc, so it should work OK)

When I open the attachment the "sounds & notifications" screen comes up, but there appears to me no menu item to either save the new midi file, or even to play it.

There is a menu item to add a new file, and I could do it that way, but I can't find which subdirectory email attachments are stored in.

Can anyone help me?

Can you not save the attachment somewhere you know where it is, such as My Docs, and then add it in Sounds & Notifications?

No, there seems to be no option then looking at the email to save it.

I know it must be there, but I just don't know where to look or how to do it.

Can you open the e-mail through your PC. Then save the attachment and hotsynce it? I know its a PITA, but I don't own a W just a P.
