| Junior Member ![]() | I just made the switch from the 600 to the 700wx -- I've been using Palm OS for 10 years now but needed to switch to WM5 for corporate email support. I've been working through the kinks of switching OS but really dislike the native calendar views and alarm (I used KeySuite & Palmary Clock on the 600). I would be interested in anyone's experience with third party applications for calendar and alarms on the Treo WM5 platform. Thanks

The alarm clock has a setting, which ignores whatever your Treo sound level adjustment is, with the exception of the slider switch on top of the device. So if you lower the Treo volume, Sbp Time's alarm can go off at the loudest volume or you can also set it to escalate the alarm volume. The alarm also has a snooze button. As far as the Calendar, I'm using the standard calendar on the device. The only thing is I use Sbp Diary, which is a Today screen app. Sbp Diary displays Today's events, future events, emails, tasks, notes, and even a contact list so you can dial from the Today screen. Pocket Breeze is a similar product, but it doesn't have the contact list. I tried out both products and prefer Sbp Diary, because it easier to use with 1 handed operation. |

| Junior Member ![]() | Thanks -- that sounds like what I'm looking for in an alarm -- especially being able to overlook the Treo volume settings -- I slept through the dainty alarm on the 700. More on what I'm looking for in a calendar in case anyone else has thoughts -- what I liked about KeySuite is that is looked very much like my Outlook client -- including color coded categories for activities. I was surprised that WM calendar looks nothing like Outlook

| Junior Member ![]() | Yeah, Spb Time has some nice LOUD alarms. Regarding the calendar, I used to use Pocket Informant a few years ago when I used my iPaq H5555 (Pocket PC 2003). and I thought it was great. Unfortunately, I don't use it now, since it takes up allot of space and pocket contacts and calendar on my Treo is sufficient. |

| Junior Member ![]() | Clocks & Calendars I evaluated and purchased spb Time -- it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for -- loud alarms, world clock, clock screensaver. Over the last couple of weeks I have evaluated (& rejected) several calendar applications. The couple of features that I *really, really* wanted were -- phone number hyperlinks in calendar entries, ease in creating new appts & ability to use colors & icons to categorize calendar entries. I am playing around now with Agenda One which seems to be a keeper.
