![]() | Synching with personal and work Outlook? Okay, I'm not sure if this has been covered in another topic somewhere, but I'm new so please forgive me and my noobish questions. Can the Treo 700wx sync with both a personal version of Outlook (mine is the Outlook 2002 that came with the Getting Started disk) and a work Outlook (MS Office Outlook Web Access running from a MS Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2) at the same time? I was told by my work IT guy that it couldn't, but I'm not sure he knows the full capability of my Treo. I sure as heck don't myself ![]() I'm running MS Windows 2000 NT on my personal computer and thus do have an outdated OS, otherwise I would just sync my work Outlook to my personal Outlook and then just use Activesync to sync both Outlooks' information to my Treo. So what can this Treo do? Are there any ways around my old OS? I would like to be able to keep my appointments and contacts from both my personal and work Outlook accounts. Also, in my line of work I want to be able to keep contacts' information confidential, so is there something I can do to guarantee that? Ideally, I'd like to be able to receive new appointment/contact/email information from work without having to login remotely to the work server through the Internet like I have been doing. And please let me know if I'm asking the wrong questions. I won't take it personal ![]() |

![]() | You're IT dude is wrong. You can sync your Treo to Work and Home. The only problem that you might find is that work will have access to your personal info. You can select what is sync'd (Notes, Contacts, Calendar, and mail) as broad groups, but if you sync your contacts on both for instance: your home, work and Treo will all have the same information on them. If you don't mind your IT dude knowing that you have an appointment with your doctor to get those 'red sores' checked on Monday, or you've set up a interview with another job on Tuesday, then go for it. But remember, once you have info on a business computer, it is the property of that business.
