Full screen picture incoming call - Treo Forum

Hello all, First post here, love the site. I have had my 700w about 3 months now and keep learning more each day.

One question though, can you change settings to give a full screen picture of your incoming caller, or outgoing caller. All the advertisments for Treo's the picture shows some girls face, full screen. I can only get a little thumnail of the pic when I call or they call me.

You can't do it out of the box, but there are third party software solutions that allow you to do it. One of the more popular ones is Photo Contacts Pro.

Photo Contacts PRO - Pocket PC ringtones, call filtering, phone profiles and Photo Caller ID

FYI
I don't have it, so I can't vouch for it at all, but it will do what you're looking for.

I used it on my MDA and it worked great.

I tried it on my Treo 700wx and it interferred with my accessing the internet (it would not let me access it at all, even email was a no go).

This is excatlly what I was looking for, If you see the website it does have software specifically used for Smartphones with or without touch screen. Thanks again!

I have looked into photo contacts pro and they do have a new software package that is specifiacally set up for the 700wx. I think it is a great software package and it works great. Good luck, because as I have found out with any software, somewhere along the way I find myself asking why I did this. I have found some software that should make things easier don't.

I also like the SPB software, it has helped my day to day organization.
