I can not get my Sprint Windows Treo 700wx to sync with my outlook calender without having the time revert back to old time. I have tried all sorts of downloads, patches, hard reset, soft reset...It's like living in two time zones at once and I'm never sure when an appointment is scheduled..really!!

Please help!!

I've had the same problem - DST with Treo 700wx/Sprint

I've followed Sprint and MS' instructions, upgraded my ActiveSync (that may have been my first mistake, because I got errors installing it and then kept getting errors whenever I synced, although my Outlook information seemed to update all right), then downloaded and installed the DST patch for Windows Mobile. Whenever I synced, the entries in my calendar on the Treo turned up an hour behind my Outlook. The time on my phone also reverted to an hour behind, although I could correct that by turning off the phone and turning it back on again. But the time on all my appointments have remained incorrect.

I've tried all sorts of re-installs and tried process of elimination. I'm now back to using the older ActiveSync (at least I don't get the error messages anymore when I sync the Treo with my laptop). But the time on appointments remins wrong.

Do you have Enable local network time ticked on your Treo?

Yes to both question

Yes, I installed the latest Windows Mobile update as specified by Sprint (or Palm, or MS, whomever) and also enabled network time. IN fact, whenever I sync now, the time on the phone becomes incorrect, and I have to turn off the phone and turn it back on for the time to correct itself by pulling in the local network time.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Treo time issues

I'm having the same problem listed below on my Treo 700w, which uses verizon and syncs with Outlook 2003. Everytime I plug in my Treo for sync, the first thing that happens is my Treo's time moves forward an hour. When I change it back, all of the appointments are an hour off. Then, I can't correct the problem, even by deleting and re-entering appointments, which I have done many times. Resetting does nothing and I've tried patches and upgrading the software. I feel as if I can't rely on the calendar because I never know if it's correct or an hour off. Has anybody come up with a solution for this?

Thanks.

You've probably already done this, but make sure that all the DST updates are installed on your PC for both Windows XP and Outlook.
