700wx 8gb SD Card Capability?

I have read that pretty much all other Treo phones have the ability to read 8gb Sd cards with a simple hack and that a hack has not been developed for the Treo-wx yet. I am looking to buy an SD card for my Treo-wx and I've read that 4gb is the highest one it can read right now....but I really want to be able to buy and use the 8gb Sd card like everyone else. Does anybody have any idea of how close a hack for the Treo-wx is to being released for 8gb SD cards or a site which reports on news such as this?

Standard SD cards officially max out at 2Gb, although there are some 4Gb ones around, a new standard was introduced for 4Gb and greater cards which is called SDHC, the 700w/wx/750's don't have support for SDHC cards as yet. If you go with a 4Gb card you need to make sure it's not a SDHC card and preferably one that other people have had success with.

Yeah thats exactly what I meant, when will a hack be released for the Treo 700w/wx that will allow it to read the SDHC cards like the other Treos? I should have been more clear in the first post but I am brand new to SD Cards and all the formats since I've only had my phone for like three weeks.

all depends on when someone can write or extract a valid driver for them that will run on the treo w/wx.
