resetting up email - Treo Forum

I muffed the email set up

I now have 3 email accounts, Outlook, Gmail, Gmail1

none seem to work

the Gmail, because I didn't set it up from gmail 1st, I have now, except the last step which is an email address, as it won't let me use my gmail address.......

So how do I delete the 3 email accounts from my treo, and what email address do I use for the treo????

Not sure about the latter questions, but to delete an account, just hold your stylus on it until the option window opens up. It will ask if you want to delete it then.

I just use my telus account for email and it seems to work. Not sure what is causing your problems with that, sorry.

Thanx, that's the biggest part, deleting the accounts and starting from scratch.

As for what email address I use, that's still a mystery, Gmail basicly does all the work for you HERE and HERE

I hope the links help some one else

it's that it asks for an email address in one field and won't accept your gmail address, so do I make one up, or does it have to be a valid address with Outlook?

Yes holding the stylus in the center of the screen brought up a menu, but everything was grayed out except "send/recieve"

any other wayt to delete a email account from the Treo?

I have the same problem. It doesn't want to delete them, because the delete option is grayed out.

well anyone find a way to delete the email accounts from the treo??

or what address I should put in the address field on gmails site ( Link above )

ok ok I did it!!!!!!!!!

left soft-key(messaging)>letf or right on the center button (until you see the account you want to delte)>right soft-key (menu)>tools>options>now you get a new window with the email accounts listed in it, now put your stylus on it and then delete it.

I deleted my 2 gmail acconts and one named new account, can't delete outlook, oh well
