Weird ActiveSync problem - Can you help?

When I select the E-mail option from the list of data I want to sync, I get those strange unable to synchronize 8600010b error messages for my task and calendar data. When I de-select the E-mail option, my tasks and calendar options sync with no problems. What is that when the E-mail options is selected, it will create the e-mail folders on my Treo from my computer, but it won't synchronize the Inbox or any folders I have selected.

Thoughts?

What is the error message that you are getting?

It sounds like your phone has mutiple servers on it and you need to delete them until you just have just the one. Activesync won't let you download the email from the computer multiple times to your Treo.

Let us know what the error message is so we can confirm it. Thanks.

The error message is something like:

Cannot synchronize: Tasks
Support Code 8600010b

What do you mean by multiple servers? Where would I find them?

On your phone: go to Programs/Activesync. It should show you the last time it was syncronized but it should only show you that it was Syncronized to ONE source.

If you see more than one syncronized, you can hit Menu/Options and highlight the server source you don't want anymore. If this isn't the problem, you might also use this screen to play with the Settings of the things you want to Syncronize (Contacts, Tasks, E-Mail, etc.) and see if you can adjust those so that they work correctly.

Hopefully that is all that needs to be fixed.
