 |  Treo 700 WX Active sync Hello all, Just got my first ever treo and i'm having problems with active sync. When i connect the cable to the usb port it detects the device but loads it as a LAN connection and active sync says no device is connected to any port. anyone had this problem before?? any help would be appriciated.  |

  | Can't say I've seen that problem. What version of ActiveSync are you using?

| I had a similar problem, then I just turned on ActiveSync on the phone, also check your firewall settings when I got AS to work it asked for premission to access my LAN and premission to act as a sever I'm running ZoneAlarm, with Windows firewall turned off |

|  Still not working.. Tried uninstalling, upgrading active sync to 4.5 but still can not connect. i noticed the USB switch program on the phone but still it did not find the phone. Windows does load the drivers as USB smart phone but as soon as i try to access the folders i see nothing... AS tries to connect on COM3 and USB but no luck. still fighting with AS 4.5 |
