clock and alarms - Treo Forum

My 700wx seems to keep having the "clock and alarms" setting screen pop up after a call.. It's always on the "more" screen where you control if it gets network time. I can't figure out why it keeps coming up, but it's annoying to have to keep closing it.

Has anyone else seen this?

+1...agreed. You're touching the screen at the end of a call. It happened to me occassionally too, before I got my case. Just watch your face when hanging up.

Can't you disable the screen during the call option? I have a 700p so don't know on the w/wx

You can but the default is off, plus if your quick you can get to the screen before the keyguard kicks in

So, there is no disable screen. Like on my 700p, as soon as you answer a call, the screen is disabled. You would have to use the QWERTY keyboard or five way navigation to end a call etc.

There is a way to do it with the Ws as well. It's in Settings somewhere but I'm too tired to look it up just now. Let me know if you can't find it and I'll dig it up for you.

Yes there is but it takes a second or so to activate, so if you're quick you can touch the screen after taking the call before it's had a chance to disable it

just go to start>settings>systems>keyguard and check the tab that says disable touchscreen during a call.

...Just bear in mind, you won't be able to press "mute", "speakerphone", nor work with the screen if you need to during a call. You can still use the Hot buttons to perform these functions, but you're going through menus rather than have that direct button to push.
