earphone/micrpohone - no mic input - Treo Forum

I have a Treo 700w and use the earphone/mic combo. The combo works on other phones but not on my Treo. When I use ear/mic combo I can hear but no one hears me. Phone works fine without combo.
I cannot adjust mic properties, cannot record a note etc. It seems the mic is muted inside the guts of the phone and not in the wiring of the combo.

I looked in Settings and do not see anywhere to look at mic or set mic.
Voice Command works fine without the combo. But the combo works fine on other phones. THank you - my first post.

Are you using the headset mike combo that came with the Treo 700w?

Yes, I am using the headset and mic that came with the phone and the kit works on my other phones. Thank you.

Call verizon and tell them there is something wrong with the phone. I just had my 700w replaced by Verizon because i was having problems with the headset and Voice Command feature. They will send you a phone via Fed EX.
