    | Phone radio won't turn on? I recently experienced an issue on my 700w where the device had frozen up (wouldn't respond to pressing the power/end button to turn on screen). After soft reset (which is often with these WM5 devices), I found that the phone radio would not turn on. After hard reset, it still wouldn't turn on. Then it dawned on me.... What was the last thing I did before it froze up?.... Hmmmm..... lemme think.... oh, I slid the sound to on after leaving a resturant.... "How could this have anything to do with it?", I asked myself. "Oh well, its worth a shot, I have tried everthing else." So, I slid the sound to off and viola!, I was able to turn on the phone radio. (Yes, after sliding the sound to off, I was able to turn off/on the sound).... Makes one wonder if the sound slider gets "suck"? Long story short, If your phone radio won't turn on, try to slide the sound off/on. Worth a try anyway  Last edited by norahaura; 01-13-2007 at 08:24 PM. Reason: typo |
