loudest bluetooth...volume too low?

I've had 2 earpieces so far and both are too low to hear.

I've had the:

Palm Wireless Headset for Treo 700w|wx,

and the:

Jabra BT350 Bluetooth Headset for Treo 700w|wx,

the volume is so low...any one rec. a device that is LOUD! Meaning I need to turn down the volume to hear rather then struggle to hear at the loudest setting.

Thanks!

Blueant Micro X3 controls the Treo volume, so when you hit the volume control on the headset the Treo's screen comes to life and the volume bar starts moving. Talk about level of integration.

My 700wx and X3 are soulmates.

Finally!

Thanks for the advice...I took the plunge and got the:
PLANTRONICS|VOYAGER510 BT R

This thing is LOUD!! and fits snug in the ear instead of floats. The other Jabra and Palm BT sat outside the ear and couldn't hear anything w/ambient noise.

Kinda a pain to carry around but in use it's great!

bluetooth volume hack needed

What we really need is a volume hack .....
and a ringer hack - I want to be able to tuck the treo safely away and hear a loud ringer through the BT headset
Anyone ?

I too have the Plantronics 510 & love it. I think the look is more stylish (if that's possible considering you have something with a bright, blue flashing light hanging off your ear) than the alternatives and it's plenty loud for any environment I talk in.

Again, you may want to consider the 510. I can hear the ringer perfectly because as doyoudesign stated in his post above.

Good luck.

My 2 cents:

I have the Motorola HS850, and volume is great on that as well! I do have a question though....I have the Plantronics 510 as well, and I am considering using it. A previous poster mentioned you can hear the winger through the earpiece...is it the beeping I hear in the Motorola, or the ringtones assigned in the Treo? (I am a newbie to bluetooth if this is a stupid/obvious sounding question)!! Thanks all!!
