can't configure BT-359 Bluetooth GPS Receiver to 700wx - Treo Forum

I just bought a BT-359 reciever. the 700wx was able to detect it, but under bluetooth>partnership. it shows up as BT-GPS-357104, and the only selection it gives me for "select services to use from this device" window is "serial port" check/uncheck box. did i need to install a driver or something for it to detect it a a gps device?

I think you need to assign a serial (COM) port to it and then select that port in your GPS software.

If it helps, I just noticed this on a site that is selling the BT-359

The GlobalSat BT-359 contains the latest SiRFIII Low Power Chipset for high sensitivity. It communicates with Host Platforms (PDA, Laptop, and etc.) via Bluetooth Serial Port Profile.
