![]() | Help, Please!! Ok, this is to those of you that say the 4GB SCHD SD Cards that are sold at the Treonauts store work on the 700wx. I've been trying to get an answer but so far haven't been able to. Here's my story. I'm hoping someone can help me with this issue. My wife and I each have our own 700wx through VZN. I called the Treonauts 1-800 number and asked if the 4GB SCHD card that I found on the site would really work with the phone and was told yes. I also asked if there was something special done to your cards to make them work or are they the same as any other cards that are sold anywhere else. I was told as long as its the same mfn# it's the exact same card. So I bought 2 on ebay (exact same card) and they don't work. I thought of formatting them and my computers reader won't recognize the cards either. I called Treonauts again and this time was told that the 700wx will only recognize a 2GB card and no more. Also the web site now doesn't list a 4GB card that's compatible with the 700wx. So what gives? Was I lied to, did I just get a disgruntled worker on the phone the first time, or is there something I'm missing to make these cards actually work? Thanks in advance for your answer and any help you can offer. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | People have managed to get non SDHC 4Gb cards to work on their 700w/wx/750's but it's luck of the draw really. I bought a 4Gb mini-SD from eBay and that didn't work until I upgraded my 750v to WM6. Obviously WM6 isn't an option for 700w/wx owners ![]()

![]() | 700wx & fat16/32 I just replaced my Sprint 700p with a 700wx. I used a 1G scandisk in the 700p with no problems. The 700wx does not recognize the card. How can I force the 700wx to recognize this card? Sprint was absolutely no help. |

![]() ![]() | I am not sure that you can force it to recognize your sd card which is a "sandisk" brand. It may possible be soemthing in the rom that's causing the difficluty or your device may not like that particular card or check and see if the write proect tab has moved and you cant write to it. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Have you tried any other cards in your Treo and did they get recognised correctly?

![]() | If you are wondering which Treo smartphone was the first to use Microsoft Windows Mobile operating system, then the answer is most certainly that it was the Palm Treo 700wx. This unit also has great color and you will appreciate the grey as well as silver scheme of colors. Another thing that is sure to strike you at the very outset is that the Palm Treo 700wx has great RAM and it is able to give double what you normally get with the Palm Treo 700w, which in turn means greater speed and less time is required for refreshing screens and the responsiveness is generally good. With the Palm Treo 700wx, you will also get Mobile Office though you will find that to type on the keys can be a bit of a problem what with the keys being a bit bigger and stiffer than you would want and they are also too close to one another as well. As far as its physical appearance is concerned the Palm Treo 700wx is not much different to the earlier Treos. However, it has many similarities to the Treos in phone capabilities and the quality of voice is nothing too great though when performing as speakerphone you find better quality. The talk time is about five hours and twenty-eight minutes and the battery life of the Palm Treo 700wx’s batteries is not that good either though in no way inferior to any Treos that you may have tried. The Palm Treo 700wx has great no-messaging and it also has a good music player though the MP3 player is not of the absolutely best quality, but it is certainly very loud. There is also good quality in the 1.3 mega pixel camera and you should be well pleased with shots taken indoors as well as outdoors and it certainly would outperform most other cell phone cameras. The cost is about five hundred dollars that includes two years of contract with Sprint and if you compare it with the 700w, there is no doubt that the Palm Treo 700wx comes out ahead. What’s more, this unit is powered by 312 MHz PXA270 Intel XScale processor and it also has one hundred twenty-eight MB of memory and that should be enough to store your data and also programs internally. There is also a two inch square touchscreen display with 240×240 mega pixels of TFT screen which allows for sixty-five thousand colors and the display is quite bright and does well in the outdoors as well. Another notable feature is CDMA wireless technology and also support of EvDO high-speed wireless data. With many more features, the Palm Treo 700wx is certainly a powerful smartphone well worth considering for your next mobile needs. |
