Question Is there a way that I can restore only "DATA" after a Hard reset?

After installing the "BluePill" application and attempting to "run" it, my phone began looping.
More than likely due to an application conflict. I then did a HARD RESET and noticed that my phone
responds much better than it did prior to the reset. (Microphone, touchscreen, etc.) This was
probably due to the numerous add-ons and deletions of software over the years.

I would like to install just the "data" portion of my "hotsync'd" information, (Contact list, Calender, Memo's, etc.)
so I can reinstall my desired applications, one-by-one, for a cleaner install.

Is this possible?? If so, what is the procedure??

Thanks in advance....

If I understand you correctly, you want to install you PIM stuff but not the applications. You want to install them one at a time to keep the clutter off of your phone.

1st, find the back up folder. Should be on C:Palm/Treo/Backup or something similar to that. Take that folder and put it somewhere else.

2nd, Make sure you conduits are set to, computer overrides hand held device for Contacts, Calendar etc. You can leave everything else to synchronize.

3rd, This is what I would do. I would make a backup onto my SD Card just in case it doesn't work properly. If it doesn't, just restore your last backup and you can safeguard your contacts.

4th, Perform a hard reset, to make sure your Treo is clean, and then hotsync.

Thanks Comiken..... I remember now. i'm away from my home state at the moment, so as soon as I return i'll take care of it. Thank goodness for "wireless sync" I still have access to my real IMPORTANT info....lol

Again, thanks a lot
