 | Beaming Been a while since I've been here. Too busy working on my 30th class reunion and class web page. I'm back No longer the only one in town with a Treo. A friend has a Treo 700p. Tried beaming something to her the other day. Mine worked, but her's didn't receive. Can this be done? I await your response.

| Good golly gosh MM!! It sure is great to see you and aldy back with us once more. We've missed you. You've asked an interesting question. Actually, I was kinda wondering the same. Have never used beaming, but would like to try to get a game from a treo-friend. Maybe it could be beamed. |

| Thanks, and it is definately good to be back. My treo 650 was trying to beam and the IR ports were 3 inches apart. I think her 700p was not set to receive beams. Was going to beam some important stuff, like games, contact info, key caps, picture, birthday program, etc. Something to whet her appetite for more treo stuff. I plan to send her here as well. I'll get together with her when I have more time. About a month ago I met another person in another town looking for a power adapter for her Treo. She was from California, here on business. Of course they didn't have it at Alco. So I sold her my car charger for $10. Had to help a fellow treo friend. Later I ordered the Retractable Sync & Charge Cable with a home and car plug in for the usb. I really like it. I keep the home cord in my travel bag. The car adapter in the car. and carry the Retractable Sync & Charge Cable in my phone pouch on my belt.  I knew you guys would be a big help. Thanks again.

| Not only do you have to be concerned for the beam on or off but remember that you cannot beam a protected file. I know I haven't been able too! |
