number formatting - Treo Forum

I am a newbie and have a problem possibly someone knows the solution for. My telephone number formatting in my contacts has recently changed from xxx.xxx.xxxx format to xxxxxxxxxx. In preferences, it is set to use a period (.) as a delimiter, and on my palm desktop, the contact numbers show up correctly xxx.xxx.xxxx.
I have tried to have the desktop overwrite the treo, etc. but havent figured out how to get my number formatting back. Any tips on how to get this done would be appreciated.

Welcome Tim to treonauts. Not sure if it helps but the hot synch manager will help you set actions on your conduits as far as synchronizing data. I am no longer real familiar with palm os stuff as I am on the 750 winmob6.
