 | Broken Screen Hey all, I did a search and looked for some posts regarding broken screens and have decided to use PDAparts.com to get the replacement. The outside glass isn't broken but there are visible cracks behind the glass. The screen and touchscreen work just fine but black is slowly bleeding from the cracks and is overtaking the screen. Do I need a full LCD/screen/digitizer? |

| Thank you for the prompt reply and welcome. While I'm at it, do you think one of the metal or silicone cases would help prevent further damage? My phone landed on the bottom left back corner when the screen cracked, so maybe it was just bad luck? |

| The screens seem to be the most easy to brake portions of the device. A metal case may help this, but nothing is certain

| Dimitri pdaparts.com good choice for the purchase. They are good people. I've used them before albeit a 650 antenna replacement not near as complicated as what you are doing but still good people. Good luck and keep us posted. |
