Emails not deleting from server

I am getting a daily dump of email messges from exactly one month ago. Every morning I wake up to the exact messages I deleted 30 days ago. I can't seem to deleete them from the server. I went online a few months ago and changed the settings and it lasted a couple days but now they are coming back. Maybe I just need to change the settings but I don't know how. Sprint has not been much help. Can any one on the forum?

Second, what email app are you using versa or chatter ? Do you sync your phone every morning before you leave for work ?

Welcome, Mike.

A couple of quick questions. Do you have access to the settings for your e-mail server (not just the client). There are some server configurations that will not delete e-mail on the server - even if requested - if they think that the connection was not closed normally, e.g. a dropped signal. Problem is that sometime even normal session closing from certain clients appears to the server as an "abrupt" closing and results in no message deletion. On a different note, though, are you saying that your messages reappear exactly 30 days after being deleted? That would seem an altogether different matter...

I'm using Sprint Versa mail, yes the messages reappear exactly 30 days (or 31, depending on the month) later, after I'mve deleted them on the phone. I suspect the Sprint server is not deleting the messages but don't know how to change the settings.
A secondary issue is that I cannot "delete all". I've got to deletee each one individually.

Versa mail, and it auto synch's. I do not synch manally. should I?

Yep, that's pretty much how I see it. I've been into Sprint several times and each time they walk me through a different procedure, which works for a short time. Then it starts up again.
