Mapopolis trouble

I don't know if anyone out there reading these uses Mapopolis (I don't have a data plan, and I imagine Google Maps to be fairly popular) but I'm running version 2.35 and, for reasons unknown to me, it no longer gives me directions, simply stating "No route could be found". I noticed this about a week ago, and really can't figure out why as I've been using it without trouble for a couple of years now. I went so far as to delete and re-install it the other day, which seemed to work. It defaulted to the preset colors, and emptied my list of frequently used addresses. (I've also been monkeying with NVBackup, and apparently restored the "problem" version back into place). I can no longer seem to delete it "sufficiently", where it seems to remember things like the frequently used addresses or revert to the default colors when it's re-installed. I even go so far as to go into FileZ to remove Mapopolis' Word Database and Mapopolis Preferences from the RAM as well as the program itself. I'm fairly sure if I could accomplish a "true" removal of the program (again), it would cure the problem (again), yet I don't know why I have this trouble in the first place. So, if anyone could shed light on the problem with mapopolis, or why I can't seem to delete it to the point that there's nothing left behind, do let me know. Thanks in advance!
