New 700p & Missing Sync

Hi all - My first post as a new member

Just got my replacement 700p since the known audio jack problem rendered my phone useless for anything besides text and email.

I'm using Missing Sync and OSX (Leopard). I've gotten my contacts, calendar, email, etc. back on the new phone by using Wireless Sync (Verizon). Before syncing with Missing Sync, though, I want to make certain that the backup doesn't reinstall all of my old 3rd party apps. Anyone know where I remove them before syncing this phone for the first time?

Thanks!!!

You only need to remove them if you uograde to a newer phone not get a new one of the same model.

Right, but there's some of them that I don't want back on there. I have some trouble out of my treo and want to rule out some of the third party apps.

I'm not any OSX guy, but I'll have a go, you should have a Palm directory/folder somewhere with all the apps and backups on what on your Treo. In that folder there should be another folder with your HotSync ID on it. Inside that a Backup folder, so this is the path MacHD?/Palm/HotSync ID/Backup. All your apps (.prc) are in here, so if you don't want them reinstalled, stash them somewhere else before you HotSync.
