Battery connector broken. - Treo Forum

After dropping my Treo 700P, it started shutting down with the message that the battery had "no power," even though the battery was fully charged. If I put it in the cradle and tilt it slightly, it will boot and synchronize. When I remove it from the cradle it usually shuts down immediatly with the "no power" message.

I took it apart and discovered that the battery connector was loose - not firmly attached to the mother board. This appears to be the only damage. Any suggestions for re-attaching the connector to the mother board would be appreciated. I don't think it is possible to solder it back.

Without seeing it I wouldn't know. I'd assume soldering it would work though.

maybe you could open it up and take some picture or a short video and post it on line so we could look and see.

Take it to Verizon and see if they can fix or exchange it. Hopefully you have insurance. If not, shame on ya.

Try the Verizon thing first (if you have insurance). If not, post the pics.
