email problem - Treo Forum

I'm having a problem with my email. When I click on my email my treo does a soft reset. I've tried several times. Any ideas?

Which program are you using? The built in Email (Versamail), the Sprint Mail, or another 3rd party program?

While its too early to tell or advise, without further information. It is possible that you may have some corrupt data or the application may have become corrupted somehow, thus leading to the resets. Two possible solutions: First, I would backup the email app, and then delete it and perform a clean install and see if that works. Second, you could download DBFixIt and run it and see if it tells you whether you have any problems in your email database. If so, simply purchase the app and then have it fix it for you. But, as forgot implied, it may be other issues. If you use Sprint Mail for example, which sounds to me to be a bit buggy, even a clean install may lead you back to the same resets. Anyway, hope that helps some. Best wishes.
