![]() | Softick Audio Gateway Setting Hello All, I got a set of Motorola S9 bluetooth headphones for Christmas and I'm trying to get them to work with my 700p. I purchased the latest version of Softick Audio Gateway (1.17) and was able to pair it with the headphones. I find that the software is a little flaky as my Palm seems to reset quite often. Also, if I try to use it to send the audio from CorePlayer to the headphones, CorePlayer runs really badly (choppy audio and video). Is anybody out there using the Audio Gateway and CorePlayer to watch videos successfully? If so, what settings are you using in the 2 programs. PocketTunes seems to be much better but it doesn't do video. Bob |

![]() ![]() | I've got the Moto S9 on order, should see it any day, but I am curious as whether you had reset issues before Audio Gateway was installed? I'll get back to you when I get mine set up but I'll be testing it with PocketTunes and Kinoma on my 680. I've heard that PocketTunes works well.

![]() | I had the normal 700p reset issues occasionally but not very often. When I loaded the gateway and tested it, the phone would reset quite often. I am using CorePlayer as my audio and video program and I really like it. I don't need to convert my files to any specific format - it plays mp3, mv4 and h264 natively. However, the manual for the audio gateway does not mention this program as one of their supported ones. I tried PocketTunes for playing mp3 and it seems to work well. Since it's supported by the gateway, you can use the buttons on the side of the headphones to play, pause and skip forward and backwards. I'm not sure if Kinoma is supported by the gateway but my problem with Kinoma is I have to convert all my video files before being able to play them. |

![]() ![]() | AudioGateway does support CorePlayer, aka TCPMP, Kinoma, PocketTunes, etal. The 700p is also supported however, the User Manual p.13 notes that sound "dropouts" may occur, therefore the Options/Troubleshooting menu may resolve some issues with playback on the 700p.

![]() | They do mention TCPMP but don't specifically mention CorePlayer. I don't think it's supported because I can't use the buttons on the headset to play/pause/skip on CorePlayer but I can in PocketTunes. I have set the Treo700p connection watchdog but it doesn't help my CorePlayer issues. |

![]() ![]() | Ok, got my S9 for my 680 and PocketTunes and Kinoma work fine. The headset controls are fully functional, so I'd check with Softick on whether they support your version of CorePlayer on the 700p. I really like the headset, comfortable and very good sound quality but I haven't detected any skipping or dropouts in video or audio playback with these two apps.
