I have 2 problems with 700p.... - Treo Forum

1. Already asked about one, but have more info. The Treo won't recognize my card completely What's strange is the card has always worked perfect up until now in my other Treos. So I completely reformatted it on the Treo and then thru Windows just to make sure it was good and formatted! If I have files on it...say a PRC or a picture when I put it in the Treo, it shows the card is there, but nothing on it. But I can transfer data from the Internal memory to the card.

2. My second problem is the Treo won't pick up my contacts from the Palm desktop. These contacts were originally on Outlook, but I imported them into the desktop, I can see them there. When I sync it just never draws them into the Treo. I don't know if I have something set wrong or what. The sync procedure runs just like it's supposed to, but in the log it says this form of Desktop won't take O 2007 contacts. Well they are no longer in Outlook, that's not even on my puter anymore. Got any suggestions for this weird occurence?

When you set up your software for Palm, did you set it up to sync with your Outlook or Palm Desktop?

that could be the solution there but does he need some sort of updated desktop to work with outlook 2007

Maybe he is copying the prc directly to the main directory and ot the correct subfolder.

and the pictures aren't going in the corredct subfolder

The palm os is picky about that.

Ahhhhh, very true! I found the link for you. It is an update to allow your phone to work with 700P. I hope that this fixes your issues.
