No Caller-ID - Treo Forum

For those Treo owners having caller ID problems first check if you have Ringo Pro installed.

If you do either update it or uninstall it. It seems to break caller id.

Does this cover assigning caller id photo? Is the Palm Desktop required for this? I sync with Outlook for that. Photos are in the Contact info, but don't come up for caller id. I hope that I don't have to load Palm Desktop for this to work.

I imagine it would since the problem interrupts the successful reception or decoding of the incoming caller id. Without this any apps that depend on the caller id (photos, ringtones, call routing etc.) would fail.

I don't know for sure though, I dont' have that combination of software.
