Praise Jesus! No more stupid Verizon SMS check mark confirmation awfulness! I was about to buy the slow ass iPhone which doesn't let you cut n' paste, or send e-mail attachments...forget recording phone conversations and no tip calculator!

Have people tried this update? Has it been successful? I'm afraid to hose my phone, even though it is backed up.

I did it from a card. No problems, two weeks in.

Warning - I'm a Treo newb.

I'll looked around for posts about my issue, but I didn't see any. If I missed it, I apologize for posting here.

I synced my new 700p before I installed the update. The update installation went without a hitch. I then re-synced, but none of my PIM info is there (e.g. contacts, calendar, email, etc.). I tried to copy everything from my palm/treo/backup file to my SD card and then to my Treo, but only the calendar showed up. Did I do something wrong? Are my contacts gone forever?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I posted this in another thread, but what are you doing with the built in Docs To Go as mine will not work with the new ROm update.
