reset loop & data recovery before hard reset - Treo Forum

I'm stuck in a reset loop (the device can't past the "Access Powered" screen despite soft & warm resets, charging, etc.). Verizon was actually informative, although they didn't figure it out. I'm going to call Palm tomorrow when they open. I seem to recall there are some workaround data recover methods from Palms that worked sort of like you'd recover data from a crashed hard drive. Does anyone know about this? Before I completely trash the data, I want to be sure. And, yes, it's true I haven't done a hotsync recently mainly b/c hotsync was not working right before this loop set in. Before anyone launches into an 'i told you so....' :

Have you tried a hard reset?

yeah...before i go that route, i'd like to find out if there's some way to save the data...it wasn't hot syncing before so my last hotsync wasn't recent enough for me to feel like i got everything ... or prevent me from losing a LOT. i have *some* backed up, but a good swath would be lost in hard reset...want to avoid it if possible.....
