![]() ![]() ![]() | I do agree that they need to keep people a little more updated. The blog is supposed to be a place for people to keep current on info like this, and they are failing their customers. I mean, how much effort does it take to type out a little note letting people know whats going on and where they stand?

![]() ![]() | Agreed, Plus even a problem can be spun into something good. i.e "We made a mistake" "We corrected it quickly and added a new feature." If they're the kind of company to be able to (correct mistakes in a reasonable timeframe) then it's worthwhile having one. I think they could be if they stayed focussed on it. Otherwise it isn't. "We made a mistake" "..." "..." "..." And so on is even worse than not saying "We made a mistake". The former propels them head and shoulders above the middle quartiles of companies in the tech sector by humanising the company. Everybody makes mistakes, how you deal with them is the deciding factorfor many companies, being honest, open and communicatng with users wins big hearts and minds points back after making the mistake depending on if and how the company demonstrates it's learning. Not communicating then just releasing a patch puts you in the same camp as most companies. Communicating the mistake but not communicating anything else (not even a "we're still working on it because we want to make absolutely sure it's cool") is even worse because it indicates a half heartedness somewhere that could be implied for the whole company. Anyhow thats my 2 cents and it's not directed at Palms blog - more corp communcations in general. Though I think they could do more with their blog. ~Steph

![]() ![]() | Thanks for pointing it out. I used this method and it worked for me, with one exception. I cannot get my palm wireless headset to pair. Actually it does pair, but when a call is received, my headset doesn't pick it up. I have tried deleting the trusted device and pairing it again. I power cycled the headset. I just don't know what else to do. I guess I will do a hard reset and pair it. See if that works. |

![]() ![]() | Maybe there is some technical issuses that they need to contend with. They figure that some TREO owners may need the "help" in installing the upgrade. Also, they may want a controlled environment to pin point any issues that may arise from this upgrade. |
