Yahoo sms on sprint 700p - Treo Forum

I currently have t-mobile but have been thinking about going to sprint. I have gone into several diffrent sprint store ask if they know if yahoo sms will work on the 700p. Most of them Have no clue what I mean. With my t-mobile I long in yahoo 92466 and log in under sms. And I can get messages from my friends on yahoo and send under a texting. Can any one help me out or see if it would work for me.

Yes it will work. It works with all phones that can use SMS. Make sure that you have a good SMS package as you can chew through yours!

I would also like to know if there is a better way to Yahoo IM on my 700p besides the web. Anyone??

Go to handango.com or palmgear.com There, they have some IM programs you may like. I use IM+ and it works great for me.

I have tryed it on a demo phone in the store but it did not sign in. Can any one tell me if they have tryed it and have gotten it to work. Or have they gotten any other instend messanger program to work with out having to go online.
