700p forgets it has SD cards - Treo Forum

All of a sudden the carda are not recognized after a couple of hours use. I have to R&R the cards then it remembers for a while. I use two cards #1 is a 2GB SanDisk and #2 is a 4GB Transcend. They both do the same thing.
I've had the same apps for months with no changes to them on any new apps on the phone, all the apps were installed months ago fresh when the phone was new. I have done resets with no luck.
Anyone else seen this?

is everything up to date on your treo? go here to make sure. that sounds really funky, btw. hard reset didn't take care of it? sounds like an app conflict, but i wouldn't know where to start looking. after a fresh reset, try reinstalling apps one by one to look for any suspicious activity.

It's been like this from day one no apps on cards just formated.
Bone stock from Palm.

Palms response is do a hard reset but No reset helped, and its up to date as per the Palm site.

I find it hard to believe that if there are no apps on the cards and after a hard reset with just the Palm original setup its an app conflict, it's a short term memory problem with the phone, as soon as I eject the card and reinsert it is seen again.

If you perform a soft reset with the card installed its not there after the reboot, reinsert and it is.

JOY JOY I own a Treo.

Could be a hardware issue, is the Treo still under warranty?
