Seido Cyrstal Case 700p -- total rip-off? - Treo Forum

I ordered the case, skinned belt clip and battery cover. Crystal case, which was so highly recommended here, continually popped open. I contacted them, filled out a form on their site and then had to stand in line at the PO to send back the item via confirmed USPS.

They sent a replacement, same problem. I contact them and it turns out the case they sent doesn't fit, it never will. It is actually a case for the Palm, and they've only just learned that the TREO 700p is a bit wider than the comparable Palm version. I ask for a refund but they claim they're going to send me a new case that fits right away.

I STILL DON'T HAVE ANYTHING. I ordered the case on 11/8 - it's 12/23, so two months later. I'm out the time and postage sending the earlier version back as well as the original price for the clarity kit and shipping ($61). I've asked them again for a full refund - as well as a paid return shipping package as I see no reason to lose even more money and time on this.

So basically the 'clarity' that was provided is that SEIDO is not a great company - clearly they take care of important reviewers like Treonaut, but don't care about regular customers.

I'm a bit confussed the Treo 700P is a Palm product

I guess Nelliebly means to say that the case is for palm PDAs like TX, T5 etc not for smartphones like Treo 650 or 700.

Thanks Nelliebly for this information. I am sure that this will help to save money for lot of other people like me. But I am sorry to hear that all this happen to you from a compnay claiming all good things about it self.

I just ordered one from here two weeks ago, and it fits my 700P just fine. Guess your mileage may vary?
