Palm's updated software from 680 on the 700p? - Treo Forum

Hey all,

I was wondering if it will be possible to eventually update the 700p's software to that of the 680. I really like the new layout of tabs and would like to use it on the 700p.

Anyone think Palm would release an update?

It's possible that they may integrate some of the 680's enhancements into a future 700P update, only Palm know for sure though

yeah, but how often do palm users get an update? nigh on to forever since i've seen anything critical for a 650, and only an ir update for a 700p.

Agreed. and frustrating as there's a few small issues and some very useful improvements that everybody could benefit from.

Getting any of them would ensure a larger proportion of users continue being Treo users as new and improved iterations of all phones come out.
