Treo 680

Thanks!

I'm in Canada and so the provider here would be Rogers, I think.

But yeah, I'm not really interested in the phone/net features. The reason I like the 680 is for the keyboard and other features: video, MP3s, Docs to Go, camera, video camera, and the usual PDA apps.

I haven't found anything else that offers all of those so far. I you know of something, that would be great.

I'll check out the others though.

As others have mention, if you're not in need of the phone or any cellular service, ie. text messaging, email, etc..., then you won't need a SIM card. The 680 is a very good Palm PDA choice. Probably 85% on my 680 use is PDA apps; with email, texting, phone make up the remainder. From Agendus to Quicken, my Copper 680 manages my time, schedule, finances, client billing, audiobooks, music library, and photo album quite nicely. I think it's a good choice.

Treo 680

Thanks for the information. I really appreciate it. You've answered everything I needed to know about the 680, and yes, I've researched this to death and am convinced it's the one I want.

However, with the US/Cdn exchange I just realized last night it's a bit out of my budget and don't want a used one. I'm considering the Treo 650 instead, the older model. I should ask in that thread what everyone thinks of it.

Thanks again.
