Messaging Problem - Treo Forum

When I type a message (SMS/text message) and it is longer than 160 characters it does not then create a second message automatically. This occurred previously on my 650 and the 680 User Guide states that this should happen automatically. I have checked the preferences but cannot find anything that would help. Any suggestions Treonauts?

i have only used 680, and when i send message, it does not automatically span to second message either.

IMHO, this is a good thing, those sms could get out hand very quickly, better keep it short and sweet

I'm fairly certain the 750 does it automatically. I know that's not helpful, but it really should do that. Perhaps there is a 3rd party app that will provide that functionality.
