Default screen - Treo Forum

I previously purchased TakePhone but had problems with my 680 and have put it down to either TakePhone or RingCare. The default screen for the 680 is fairly basic and not as good as the 650. Does anyone now whether the default screen can be changed without purchasing third party software ie through Palm.

I am not sure about the 680 the 650 chnages were limited to chaning colors not the format of the screen. There are numerous 3rd party programs that change the default screen. Theres one that changes it to an iphone look.

It's probably just me but I like the Phone App on the 680 better than anything I've come across, much better than the 650's. I prefer the clean, uncluttered look and simply change the Display pic every couple weeks [Flickr has been a great resource for this]. The other plus, IMO, are the tabs and 5way nav-ability with my thumb when I'm on the road, works for me!

Thanks for your views, I found the short cut at the bottom of the 650 ideal. I am sure I will get used to the 680 screen.
