Preference with CallRec or Audacity? - Treo Forum

I have been having some issues with my treo 680 with the voice memo program. I have not been able to resolve the issue which is not playing back on the phone because the format is not recognized. I have downloaded two trial versions of software that has a voice memo option. I have downloaded Call Rec and Audacity. Does anyone have an opinion on either one? I am not sure which way I am leaning. Call Rec is cheaper but I think they have about the same features. I think it is neat that I am able to record a phone call with CallRec, but that is another issue. Please let me know your opinion of this software. Thanks.

welcome to treonauts rkw Glad you are here with us. I dont have a 680 I used to have a 650 but its been a few years. So I really cant help you with either audacity or CallRec. There are plenty of people here at treaonuats with a 650and/or 680 and/or 700P who can or shopuld be able to assist.

Hello! I have a Treo 680 and have been using CallRec for quite some time. I really like the program and have not found it to have any conflicts with other software on my Treo. It performs exactly as promised.

Thanks. I am thinking about going with this one over audacity due to it being very simple to use and it is a bit cheaper to pay for the full version. Thanks for you opinion.
