My 680 took it's maiden flight, help . - Treo Forum

Ladies and gentlemen ,

My treo took a nine foot drop , today .

Since it looks like god knows what , I need a new housing . Who can you recommend to sell me one ? But here is the catch , it" the housing " needs to to be unbranded . Meaning , no att cingular logo's .

well I dont know if you can find asn unbgranded housing or not You could alwayts get some color dye for plastic and pain over it

Eh , I don't know now , if its worth it or not . The treo no longer vibrates after the drop .

I'd say see about buying a "dummy" phone on eBay, but I don't know that an unbranded one even exists. Usually the dummy is from a cellular vendor and branded, but you can disassemble it and swap out the case with your damaged one. Extreme patience is required to disassemble a dummy phone since they're glued together fairly securely.

All dummy's are branded . I looked at five of them already . Thanks , though.

I think you may just jostled something loose in the case like maybe the speaker wire. Might be worht a look see inside anyway before giving up.
