![]() | Keypad flashes during a call . On my 680 , every time I make a call my keypad flashes . This happens exactly after, I either hold the send button to call someone from my recently called list or during a call . The keypad flash occurs also during the time that I browse the web . Is there a way to fix that issue ? The only third party app on that phone is google maps . |

![]() ![]() ![]() | You say it still does it even after a hard reset? Then you have a decision to make. Either take it in to be serviced (which may or may not cost you), or put up with the flashing LED. Butler has a function to turn off the LED when it gets stuck on on, but I don't know whether that will help you on a call. |

Yes , that is correct . Perhaps it is an issue with the rom, since it is unlocked/unbranded . I'll give butler a try , just for the hell of it . Since I'm stuck in NYC currently , do you have any idea where can I get it serviced ? Thanks , for the help . | |

![]() | Stuart , It's the qwerty keypad that is flashing and not the led . And ,no the butler did not do anything . |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Ahhh, mine does the same thing...the keyboard lights will all of sudden come on during a phone call. If you hit the side button, it will turn it off for a time, before it comes on again. I just put up with it. There are some third party apps for keyboard lights, but I obviously haven't found a good fix myself. |

![]() | Just as an aside, if you still interested in controling the keyboard light, PowerMan let's you set up profiles, for different environments/situations, in which you can adjust Screen brightness, LED, Keyboard, Sounds/Volumes, and a whole lot. And then you can apply these various profiles at different times/days or even override a profile on the fly. Pretty handy and worth a trial IMO.
