This is incredible. I've never heard of this flicker issue before this thread and now I'm very suspicious of your Palm OS install on your PC. I'm assuming you HotSynced after you charged the battery and installed your SIM. The OS seems to be corrupted or maybe as you've mention the ROM is getting tweaked.

A new HotSync ID and a Clean install of Palm Desktop might resolve some issues, but at this point you probably don't even want to think about going thru that hassle.

hey Vlad,
I think this guy is on the right track, did you use the same Palm OS desktop on all of the 680's?

As far as new hot sync id's go. Been there done that already . Four times . Less than two weeks an three new devices ? I think it's a bit an overkill on my part.

No. different installs on two different laptops . Four new sync id's and i still get this .

I have a T-mobile Blackberry that i don't use anymore, it's a step down from a 680. But it's really all matter if E-mail is important wicth to mostly everybody it is. But Blackberry would be a good choice.
