And I remembered that I had some shortcuts that control the keyboard lights that go along with PowerHero.

Got a new 680 from palm . Same mess again . Keypad is flashing, I think its time for me to try powerman.

It's bone stock . keypad still flickers. I will try powerman as soon as I get back to the hotel .

Frozen, So Palm send you a "new" 680, unlocked? If so then if you can swap out your SIM card with someone or since you're on TMobile see if a tech can use a different SIM to test in the phone.

This is real strange. Have you been able to use PowerMan to turn off the keyboard completely? I sense is that since it's flickering only(?) when you're using the modem for voice or data then its a wireless connectivity issue.
