RingCare / Safeguard keeps disabling its self - Treo Forum

i have both and i dont know whats going on but every so often ring care would just disable its self, i notice it alot if i do a reset. then when i get a sms i dont hear a thing. very few times safeguard is unenabling its self. what could be causing this.,

All of the ringtone managers seem to be a bit finicky. I also have RingCare and have had the very same problem, until I upgraded to the most recent version. Now I still have it on rare occasion, but I'm not sure that RingCare is the culprit as I have other phone apps that seem to conflict with one another from time to time (RngrSwitch, TAKEphONE, Phone Disconnect, Phone Switch, and RingCare). I don't want to give any of them up, so when I do have a conflict or silence, I test everything out and if necessary due to soft resets and on even rarer occasions have to delete the (un)saved preferences and start over.

I haven't heard of SafeGuard disabling itself. That is strange. You may want to write Jeff Gibson about both issues at support@GoTreoSoftware.com and see what he has to say.

Just edit the MP3 files on your computer, then use minitones. Its so simple, and relatively issue free.
