![]() | Treo 680 can't sync w/Outlook 2003 & Vista Help! I'm a novice at this posting stuff... I have been on the phone for hours with Palm and Microsoft trying to synchronize between my Treo 680 and Outlook 2003 on my new Windows Vista laptop. It says that it is synchronizing everything but when I look at my contacts and calendar, nothing is transferred from my Treo. My Treo has all of my old contacts and calendar information. What am I doing wrong or is this not possible with Vista? Since I can sync to Palm Desktop, can I then update Outlook with that info? Palm said there was 3rd party software that could do it. Thanks! |

![]() ![]() | Ken, I've been using Chapura's PocketMirror 4.3 XT to sync with Outlook 2002 XP on my 680. Try downloading a trial version and see that resolves your problem. Reported to be Vista compatible tho' I've not tried sync with my newest laptop w/Vista. Post back here with your findings.

Not sure if it will help, but here it is: I just spent several hours with Palm paid support to solve my problem syncing my 755P. The real issue was outlook. I had the following behavior. - Sync worked fine for everything but Calendar and contacts. - The Sync log had several OERR errors. They indicate the issue is with Outlook, not Palm or Hotsync. - Hotsync/Custom would reset Calendar & Contact to Do Not Sync regardless of what it was changed to at the beginning of the Sync. With the support analysts assistance, we did the following - deleted & recreated the User. This cleared up the Contacts problem but not the calendar. - Ran Outlook Detect & Repair. It took a while and did fix some stuff. - Checked to be sure there were no more than 15 categories with no sub-categories - Deleted Recurring appointments that had no end dates - Deleted all Appointments that span across midnight. This cleared up my problem that I had been dealing with for three weeks. |
