 | SMS message causing crashes I have acquired a blank SMS message in my SMS list which when accessed causes the phone to crash. The delete button is not shown when this messgae is highlighted in the list. The phone refuses to purge SMS messages (it just hangs). The phone does not send or receive SMS messages now. Hmmm. Have now updated the ROM to ROW 2.12 but this has not solved the problem. Anyone got any ideas? Les |

   | I believe you'll have to delete (or edit) the database file that holds on to your SMS messages. Someone else might be able to help you out more.

| It certainly sounds like the database where the SMS messages are stored ihas gone south. Someone with a plam os treo should be able to help you out hopefully someone will pick up on this today. |

| If LL's suggestion doesn't work. Back everything up to your card, do a hard reset an then restore all your apps and preferences, but be careful about not restoring the SMS hx. |
