![]() | Treo 680 keeps boosting nonstop My Treo 680 keeps boosting nonstop (the orange Palm logo appeared with the bar and restarts the same thing nonstop . Never have a chance coming up with the blue power access screen). I already tried hard reset several time, but no luck. Any suggestion, please. ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Porto, sorry to hear about your reset loop. If you have done a hard reset and not restored any of your third party apps, then there is a problem with your device. If you have done a hard reset and then restored your apps from either a Hotsync or an SD card, then chances are that you have just fixed the problem with the hard reset and then reinstalled the problem with the restore/hotsync. The best way to find out which is true is to do a warm reset and see if you still get a reset loop. If not, then it is likely a third party app and/or corrupted data somewhere causing the problem - at which point I would recommend downloading a trial of SafeGuard, which will help you pinpoint which app is likely causing the problem. Another option is to do a selective restore, where you select a few programs at a time, restore them and see if everything functions okay. I would recommend restoring the preferences first as sometimes they can be corrupted as well. Good luck! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi Diamond, welcome to Treonauts. If you have done a hard reset properly and the device still won't get past the orange Palm screen then you have a hardware problem and should take it to your nearest carrier's store (NOTE: You might call them and find out where the nearest store with techs is). If you recently purchased your phone or have insurance they should either fix it or issue a replacement. |
