Treo 680 doing random soft reset of phone - Treo Forum

Hello! I am new to the forum, so please be patient with me.

I just acquired an unlocked Treo 680 and am using my t-mobile sim in the phone. Everything seems to be working great, except that it keeps doing a soft reset of the phone.

Anyone have any ideas how to get it to stop doing this?

any 3rd party apps installed? have you upgraded from another palm device? have you updated the software? have you installed anything to give you more info about your resets? be a little more specific and i'm sure folks will be eager to help.

Yes - I had added a freeware klondike game - which I have just deleted in hopes that it will correct the problem. I have updated the software, but other than adding some MP3 files to the SD card, have not added anything else!

Unfortunately when treos start acting up either a soft set or Hard reset is required.

A soft reset isn't any big thing. Also if it turns out that 3rd party software is the culprit, removing it often resolves the issue without a hard reset.
