![]() | How clean install the ROM over and have my programs ?? i would like to wipe my phone out and reinstall but dont have to reinstall all the programs and serials, & settings associated with them. how can i do this. I just need my phone to be clean because theres files where i dont know about that are lurking the phone taking up valuable space. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I could be wrong about this, but I believe the understood version of a "clean install" is in fact, downloading and installing anew the applications already on your phone. If you don't have all your codes, you can do one of two things: back everything up on your SD card (using NVBackup which is freeware, or another backup program) and then do a selective restore of your preferences, which should include all your codes, etc. I can't remember the specific file that they are kept in, but perhaps someone else remembers. Then you can just do the clean install as described above. The other way, that isn't truly a clean install is to back everything up and do a selective restore of just the apps (and prefs, pics, MP3s, etc.) you want to use. While not a Clean Install in its truest sense, it still cleans up your device of a lot of loose data. |
