  | Text Messaging Preferences Hello everyone! I'm new here and figured I'd just jump right on in...I have a Treo 680 In a threaded chat window, I can change the color of "my" text, but I can't find where I would change it for the "other person". Is there a way to do this? I could have sworn I've changed this before, given that it's a ghastly pink color now, but for the life of me I don't remember. | Welcome. Did you try (while on the text message "home" screen) - Options - Preferences - Chat - then you can choose label color, and whether to use color for name only or name and message. Hope this is what you are looking for. |

| Thanks for your reply sunflower. I have tried that. I've tried everything possible (I think). It only allows me to change the name or name/text for myself. |

  | Unfortunately, I don't think you can change the color setting. Mine is purple or mave or something. I tried looking before and just now and can't find the way to change it. |

| Exactly comiken. Mine is the same color. Thanks for the help though. Just makes it hard when you change themes...makes it hard to read. |

| Thanks for the welcome JFA. I never knew this site existed. I'm excited at all the things I have yet to learn about my phone even though I"ve had it for a while. Hopefully, I"ll be able to pass on some useful information as well. |
