![]() | new 680 soft fuzz accompanies entries... Hello, I have a new European 680(is there a difference US vs. non US? -- the fact that it came with plug adapters is all I can glean), which is working generally well except that its recently developed a muted yet persistent fuzzing sound every time I use any buttons or the stylus. Basically all entries result in a muted fuzz. I find this horrifically annoying. Has anyone else experienced this/ have suggestions? Thanks in advance, Sam |

![]() ![]() | Sam, I don't believe there's any difference in the 680s, GSM is GSM. As to the fuzz, you've probably turned off your ringer switch On and Off a couple times to see if there was a poor contact there, so try turning off the Prefs/Sound/System Volume to OFF. Also how's the playback on PocketTunes? Is there distortion? You've probably tried all this, but also if you've used your headphone jack lately, sometimes the Treos won't release the disconnect fully, so insert and remove the headset jack from the socket a couple times as needed and test the buttons for the fuzz sound.
